NOLA Financial - Wealth Management is headed by its founder, Robert Alvarez.  Mr. Alvarez has been in the financial services industry for over 16 years. Mr. Alvarez holds a degree in Business Administration and Financial Management from the University of Delaware.  He holds advanced professional designations as both a Certified Financial Planning Practitioner - CFP, as well as being a Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor- CRPC.  Mr. Alvarez has been featured in On Wall Street Magazine and received numerous awards and recognition for his work in the field of financial planning. His awards include: The President's Recognition Award for Quality Advice, The Mercury Award, The Family and Financial Security Award, The Protect, Grow, Give Award, The Protect the Dream Award, The Million Dollar Round Table, Money Watch Live volunteer, and he has served on the Fidelity Advisor Council.

Personal Information and Interests:  Rob has lived in the New Orleans area since 1995 and currently resides Metairie.  Rob enjoys spending time with friends and family, mentoring, exercising, playing guitar, gardening, motorcycling, traveling, and attending live theater, concerts and sporting events.  Rob's true joy in life is raising his beautiful (and precocious) daughter Alexis. Alexis currently attends Haynes Academy.  Alexis enjoys dancing, playing with her friends, horseback riding, singing, acting, swimming, and softball.
